An Athlete Posted April 5, 2021 Hello, this is my newcomer post. I play sports at a fairly competitive level and have been lifting weights (barbell/dumbbell/machine) for close to 9 months and have made great progress. I have held an interest in qigong and its many forms for a number of years now. I am for a form or style of qigong to help supplement my sport which is full contact but noncombat and my bodily development through weightlifting. I have read through other threads discussing how progress is made in qigong and the cultivation of qi weightlifting should be avoided.
