Owledge Posted June 22, 2021 This linguistic oddity always puzzled me where it has nothing to do with entry or joining but is used to describe a prompt to confront/examine/consider something. Popular example: The Bruce Lee movie "Enter the Dragon". But also in situations like e.g. "Enter the spy" where it would be synonymous with "And that is where the spy becomes relevant in this situation". Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
