one must be able to choose when and what to read and lately most of the tab activity, which i prefer to use, is filled up with people talking ( and  quarreling) about politics, trump/musk et cetera ad infinitum

I'm thinking about removing my access too.   

 

If I wanted a nonstop stream of regurgitated MSNBS etc. spam in my feed, human beings reduced to assorted dehumanizing labels, and events presented through the crooked lenses of the mighty lie machine, I could go straight to the source.  In the current events section, I was hoping for something very different-- there are people with whom really meaningful and productive exchanges could happen if only...  Ah well.

I would love a place to share insights and information about current events from a non-msm point of view.  Perhaps this could happen in a group current events private message thread.  Another possibility would be to start a thread in Current Events for discussion among those of us open to outside-the-mainstream views and jointly agree to ignore the inevitable avalanche of outrage from the usual suspects.  

 

It´s also possible, of course, that TDB isn´t the right place for such an exchange, that such thoughts are better shared in person among close friends, but I figured I´d throw out some ideas.

I was thinking about that too.  I'm no fan of excessive rules and regulations, prohibitions and restrictions, etc. -- nor of giving the mods extra work -- 

yet I've often wished we had stricter rules against stalking threads and/or users, against hijacking discussions via brigading, and against inquisition style interrogations thinly veiled as "just questions."  (Gives me bad KGB flashbacks.)  There's enough Savonarolas foaming at the mouth elsewhere and I don't think a forum that accepts that mode of communication in any section remains attractive -- except for those thriving on it.  Maybe @stirling was right asserting that section is harmful (if I remember correctly -- if not, my apologies) -- even when ignoring it, one can't unknow that it exists and its qi affects all the rest.  In any event, I'll figure it out for myself, and if others figure out a better solution, great.

I'd say that its only a matter of time until trump also turns on Australia Nungali, (besides already having done so with Canada, Greenland, Panama, Gaza, Ukraine and more or less with most of Europe by siding with Putin,   thus the Australian Aboriginals and countless other native peoples will also be targeted via the likes of S. Miller and the many other radical white racist nationalists that are running wild,  and sure those ancient native people and your friend's can survive most things  but not cloud's of radioactive materials from the war trump will use to eliminate any resistance to his absolute dictatorship,  all being done under his motto of, "make America great again"...

If any of that  ^  refers to me , I assume you never noticed or gave any credit to my predictions here  about this  , years back . 

 

This is the tip of the ice berg .... and I will say it again , what I keep saying ;   I have had a great life and I am very thankful  for that and show appreciation for it . I realize I have had and still have so much of that, some people will never experience any thing like that . Now as I come towards the close of this great adventure I am thankful  that I won't be around  to see the huge degraded mess and shit storm that is approaching  and   come to its inevitable outcome .  

 

But I don't need to chat about it everyday on a forum that IMO is supposed to be about spirituality .
