Ursus mellifera Posted July 19, 2022 Hi Everyone, I want to learn Tai Chi and Qi Gong, but I don't live anywhere near anyplace that teaches them. I'm hoping that some of you know some good online resources that I can use to teach myself. It's not ideal, but it's currently my only option. Thanks in advance!
Vajra Fist Posted July 19, 2022 (edited) For yang style I'd recommend Adam Mizner's Discover Taiji. https://discovertaiji.com/en For Chen, perhaps Fang Yuan https://www.taichichina.com --edit, goes without saying that you'll need hands-on instruction at some point, not only to correct choreography, but - more importantly - to teach you how to properly generate force. That said, it's still worth learning online, but I'd definitely recommend attending some seminars and retreats Edited July 19, 2022 by Vajra Fist

Gerard Posted July 21, 2022 (edited) Online learning TJQ? You’ll only learn to dance; for the deep stuff you need a good teacher; however better dancing than doing NOTHING. Search for Ian Sinclair (Yang style) on YT. He has the full Beijing 24 set. Taught in detail showing various body angles which is unusual. They are placed near the bottom of his playlist. FREE of charge. Good luck bro Edited July 21, 2022 by Gerard
