hankua Posted January 6, 2023 Hello to everyone, my name is hankua (online that is, kind of a romanized version of my Chinese name). American living in Florida and Taichung Taiwan. The reason I’m posting here is to share my experience with Waitankung which is done in Taiwan at the local parks. I recently was reading a post about “ shaking” exercises on Flipboard, which is the core part of Waitankung. They also call it “trembling”, and is fascinating to watch some of the pros. It looks as if the trembling/shaking takes over their body and moves on it’s own sometimes violently. In the beginning you start with your hands and arms, then to the body, trying not to bob the shoulders.    I counted 64 different movements during the session, which consisted of basically two sets. The first set begins with 5 minutes of shaking/trembling, second set with 30 minutes of shaking/trembling. The regulars act as instructors correcting movements, posture, leg spacing, etc. 2
