SilenceMonkey Posted August 4, 2023 Hi everyone, I’m a Buddhist with some experience in Taiwanese Chan and Tibetan Buddhism. I’ve spent some years learning Chinese and Tibetan languages. I’m mostly interested in how qigong might support stillness practice in retreats, health in the long term and sourcing for healing practices for friends and family. I have some experience also with taiji, xingyi and bagua, but haven’t explored Neigong.

Cobie Posted August 11, 2023 (edited) Hi SilenceMonkey. Welcome to the forum. You say you spent some time learning Chinese. So have I, but am finding it very difficult. Have you looked at the Tao Te Ching in Chinese characters? And if so (to start at the beginning) what is your translation of Ch. 1?
