I quite like it...kind of wu wei wu feel. The Buddhists in the forum I read are quite strict.

‘mu’ derived from the Chinese 無

無 wu2 - (negates) no, not; without; nothing

imo:

A monk asked Jôshû, ‘Does a dog have Buddha nature or not?’ Jôshû said, ‘No’.

Yes, but if Joju actually meant "no", there would be no Zen!

To flesh it out a little, the Buddha taught all things have Buddha nature...but Joju said our poor dog didn't. Why did he say that? Thus appears the hwadu. Every koan has a question aspect to it.

That’s the Buddha’s opinion.

Joju said our poor dog didn't. Why did he say that?

Because that was his [Joju’s]  opinion.

It is knowable, through direct experience. But, that's just my opinion. ✌️

Sorry, these two characters are very strange. I think they were used by a different group of Chinese national that is no longer existed. They were killed by the Mongos over night. No one knew what they meant anymore!

I’m a widow.

I'm so sorry. I lost my fiance to testicular cancer when we were both in our early 20s. There are no good words, but I am truly sorry for your loss.

I appreciate commitment .

technically  (legally ) I am still married . been separated for years  now .   It didnt last long, but then again I did as a 'favor' for her  ... ex GF that got into trouble due to  being  an illegal  immigrant .   No, I didnt get paid ... it was a 'gift of love'  .
