Unfortunately we here in Australia still have a deep hidden  streak of racism . Sometimes, not that well hidden .

 

I have heard this 'philosophy' from more than one Aboriginal  group ,   a few seem to ascribe to it . Our recent failed referendum on an 'an indigenous voice to parliament '  has highlighted the issue  and  bought up a lot of other issues .

 

Stan Grant's recent 'self retirement' from the media has bought a lot of this further to light ;
