Great dragon.  Thanks to all creators.

To continue the theme, an astrological reminder that the Chinese calendar is lunisolar, and the first day of the first lunar month is the day celebrated as the first day of the new year.  This time it falls on February 10th.  February 4th, the first day of spring, is from the solar count-down, the 24 solar terms:

24 Solar Terms

These solar terms reflect the position of the sun every time it travels15 degrees on the ecliptic longitude.  Which takes it about 15 days.  A full cycle = one revolution around the sun.

In the meantime, the moon passes through 28 "mansions" or "stations," each about 27.3 days long, reflecting the movement of the Moon through a sidereal month.  Which is the period of the moon's orbit in relation to the celestial sphere of apparently fixed stars (Latin: sidera).  A sidereal month is the time it takes the Moon to return to a similar position among the stars.

Well technically the year of the Water Rabbit is still in place. The 10th of February is the start of the new Lunar year. I can see people are happy here to move on to the dragon asap. Indeed it has been a lethargic year, that's for sure but pure Yin is necessary.
