Wow, very nice indeed to see e.g. the fruits, pineapple and lily flowers.  
 

If I may make one suggestion,  make sure to keep the focus on your Guan Yin statue.
E.g. keep more space open around her. What’s the little bowl in front of her, is it for water? If so, I’d choose a smaller bowl and put it aside of her on her right side (not in front where it obscures the view of her). And I would stand her on a flat surface, not a plate (that’s for placing offerings). 

 

But you create it your way, and it’s great as it is.

Mine is put outside when replaced.  We have an outdoor altar for animals/birds to feast from...

I do, or I make juice from it.

Definitely.  But if you're offering them alcohol (for some gods and immortals, it's a must), you discard it afterwards.  A bit of a different approach is used with Zhurong, the God of Fire, who is is present in the cooking fire in your kitchen.  Since you're into cooking, here's a tip: offer him some hard liquor from time to time, you just need to sprinkle a little on the burning fire, e.g. by dipping your fingers in your drink and shaking the drops off while inviting Zhurong to partake and giving him thanks for cooking your food.  This is supposed to improve its taste and bioavailability, and prevent mishaps like under- or overcooking, burning, oversalting, etc..

Of course not !  That would be sinful .   Only a Priest or Monk can do that .

 

 

 

- many years back as a young fella , I worked in this HUGE  cemetery , it was vast, with old closed down areas that had not seen human presence in years .  I was working with an old hand there and all of a sudden .... fireworks !    WTF ? other guy was delighted ;

"Yahoo ... Chinese for lunch today  !  "  I didnt get it , he explained  ; after some Chinese funerals they leave a little banquet behind on the grave  .  He spied through some bushes after we approached , as soon as they left ; " Quick, we have to beat the wild dogs that live in the cemetery to it !  

 

he sat there happily munching away .....   I declined .  " I .m not eating 'grave food !  "
