Transgender Q&A

Recommended Posts

Has anyone read Detransition, Baby by Torrey Peters?  I´m just twenty percent in but it´s pretty darn good.  A trans author writing about trans characters in a fun, matter-of-fact way.  Not for everybody I´m sure, but recommended.

Gender is such as fascinating subject that I wish it was more talked about indepth.

The fact that people in general don't understand it is a direct indication that people in general have no idea about the construction of their own psyches and thus are totally ignorant of their own selves.

Hey Maddie ,

I saw a doco on TV and we are needing workers apparently , some special jobs have some sort of assistance available .  Not sure what you skill set is but .... I knew previously we need agricultural workers but this doco was talking about needing , of all things,   'tour guides ' !  They had a British guy  working as a guide in Australia to show tourists Australian  things  and others  guiding  'Adventure tours'  and being  ' assistants' , taking people canoeing down rivers,  camping . etc .

They are offering training for some jobs as well !  Its crazy, I know   -   even though we have our own unemployed  .  I dont know if it helps or not - I just saw it and thought of you .

You could start here ;

https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/visas/working-in-australia/skill-occupation-list

(    " The following visas are available to individuals who are qualified to work or train in an eligible skilled occupation in Australia and can meet all other requirements :   "  )

I was just chatting online with someone yesterday from Australia and he told me the same thing. This is really good and easily information to know. Thank you very much! 😊

Hi Maddie, hope you are fine. May I ask how Trump and the election have or might affect you and other trans people in general?

In addition to all of the other implications of this election I think one of the hardest things has been processing that people who you thought had your back and your best interest at heart indeed do not.

I wonder what they're going to tell their grandchildren someday when their grandkids ask why the trans people got wiped out they say well you see honey the price of eggs was a little high.

You fear being wiped Out? Also, dont you think most voters care more about the economy and border Patrol?

Why do people get so bent out of shape over other people changing their gender??

Did this question get answered?  Was it rhetorical?

Apologies, Daniel! Your questions reminded me of the questions in "What Was It You Wanted", I don't know why:

I suspect I´m one of the people you´re talking about.  I´m really sorry about this.

So yes I am a transgendered woman (assigned male at birth, now female).

Hi Maddie

I am always curious about your sexual desire after you had made the sex change. Do you have any sexual desire at all? If so, do you feel any different before when you were a male?

Sorry, I have to bring this up to fulfill my curiosity!

Peace!

It is too long for me to go into it now! Perhaps, I can go find my answer there then!
