the 'Sermon on the Mount' gets through to us but at such a heavy price!!   (and that also gets co-opted for worldly power)

Gets through to us - What doesn’t ? Let’s pray it changes…

Walking back from the Sermon - I feel like we are at a point in human history akin to the time just before the invention of the wheel.

Heavy Price - And the truth is we need to push with all our might… 💡

Co-opted indeed - The secret story told and entwined silently in our blood…

Worldly Power… - our roles will reverse 🔄

How’s the crime rate?

we are veering into current events territory with that question,

crime rate is about the european average

for a comparison of robbery in european countries you can have a look here.

nice big quote you created :D, the bigger the better uh

I do not give a F about what the majority thinks, i prefer my own thoughts.

a 1000 times zero is still zero yaknow

furthermore, in the global North ( europe, america) the share of christians is diminishing. It's the growth in the global south that makes for the global growth, looks like they're gonna repeat the same mistake.

seems that is mainly of the fanatical and violent dictatorial branch's quests for worldly power but not the Sufi...

I met some Ishmaili Muslims once who were very pleasant - but then too are mystical Christians.  The exceptions don't really make the rule.

Good luck trying to draw a cautation between decline of christianity in Europe to increased crime. I somehow feel there might be other factors at play.

It’s quite straight forward if you look at statistics of migrant unemployment and crime.

Previously Christian countries have become more and more unsafe. Mainly due to migrant gangs , almost totally actually. (Culturally the West is Christian that’s where we get our basic values and human rights, a lot of people fail to notice this simple truth)

The U.K. is like this. Sweden too is like this, so sad so many no go zones there are some places Police won’t even go, and the same is happening in America. (They would rather spit on a Bible in court than swear on it, if they can even speak English…)

Tough criminals come from wore torn countries with different values. Not Christian.

Last year Poland paid 1 million euro fine per day, because they refused to take the Migrant Quota from the EU.

Germany recently admitted it cannot handle the migrants and they have destroyed the safety of their country, they have been recently trying to send them here to Poland…
Poland currently has the lowest crime rate in Europe.

I understand Croatia is quite similar in that regard…

Check yourself before you wreck yourself.

That’s the best border policy too…

I” care what you think. I asked a question in my last post and wonder if you have an opinion. I’m most interested in what females have to say…

And I agree, 1000 x 0 is zero

What do you think we Westerners, should do about birth rates?

Please Google first if you are not sure what’s going on with replacement rates country to country. Check South Korea first. You’ll understand what I’m getting at then…

and yes it’s extremely relevant to Christianity… or lack there of…

Tell me and I will verify unless they were stated opinions.. if it’s a black and white fact I should have proof. I’m here to be contested. Please do so…

I’ve asked a lot of questions though. I’d prefer to hear YOUR opinions to be honest…

if you dare. Here’s one to get things going. What do you think about birth control?

I don’t follow you, please elaborate?

id like to understand your views, and opinions on the subject. Where it came from, where it is, where it might go. How it’s effected society.

the good the bad and the ugly. You know your views on it all. I mean it’s highly unnatural right? Do you think it was a good idea to invent it?

Like BES, I too am from the Netherlands.

In the Netherlands suicide is now the leading cause of death for people under 30 .

“ Suicide rates in youths have nearly tripled between the 1960s and 1980s.”

Religion lost its influence on Dutch politics between the 1960s and 1980s.”

Cool, what do you think about punishment for serious crime. Do you think death penalty should be a feature?

I've lost interest some posts before

further, as I said before, you're veering sharply towards subjects that belong in the section current events. If you want to discuss things like this, that is the place to go.

@Cobie but good lord, you cant just throw Out stats like that an assume it is due to christianity. Are you familiar with statistics at all?

sorry, but this is just dumb

Really though, Sweden I hear is like 60% tax. 50% unemployment, so those working work for the other half.

I heard it used to have the best education system, best healthcare system lots of free services, childcare. And over one year maternity and paternity leave so both Mom and Dad get paid to have all that time off with baby, wow that is incredible.

Why would the birth rates drop. Among natives, such a shame.

Incredible place to move though, especially is you want loads of kids and loads of  money.

interesting… @Cobie I’m putting back on my thinking 🎩 . Thankyou

I could answer you, but I wont. I think you and I both know why this is the case. Here we call it «svenske tilstander.» translates to swedish conditions.

I’m not BES. Birth control and abortion rights are currently the hottest topic in Christian circles.

I really wish you’d think things thru sometimes , I really do. :/
