When I had Ross River Fever ( which swells the joints, thus constricting the nerves there ) it definitely felt like blockage, and what I can only describe as 'freezing cold pain ' but internally , like it was in the bones . At its peak I would have to get up and 'dance' : shake my arms around , kick legs , flick my hands fast , etc . that would give some relief - for about 20 minutes .... then dance time again - all through the night .

I like the 'Goldilocks Zone' . People in South America are more open hearted and 'hot' than Europeans. ? Including the Italians , Spanish / Portuguese and French ? ( Why do I cite French ... they where one of the last countries to have 'crimes of passion ' allowances in sentencing . Basically , being excused to an extent because you could not control emotively fueled reactions ). The 'mercurial viewpoint' is more abut observation and then appropriate response , depending on what your aim is . I know, I lived there and traveled around for more than six months. It was a healing experience for body, mind and soul. Yeah ...... I had a Sth American Latino GF with 3 kids for several years Also got some Sth American in-laws and friends ... they all lament and miss that exciting vibrant and wonderful place ... and all are fleeing oppression or some similar danger . Its 'boring' here .... but they find refuge . Eg My Brother - in Law at the dinner table " Ohhhh , it was so wonderful there ... this and that and the other thing ... Australia has no culture and is boring . " My sister : " Yes, but didnt your family have to flee and come here because the 'Generalissimo' put a hit order out on your father ?" BiL : " Ummmm .... well, yes, there was that . "
Cadcam Posted January 21 17 hours ago, Nungali said: Death is the inevitable outcome of life .... but who knows what the outcome of death is ? Outcome ; " That which comes out of, or follows from, something else; issue; result; consequence; upshot. ' - unless you meant ' the inevitable outcome that is death .' ? No ... you cant change that , but you might be able to change what comes after that . I doubt we have much control over what happens after death, if anything, though I have seen enough of the complexities of the mind and body to think perhaps there is more. It's not just that death is inevitable, it's that we can't control so many other things too. I've learned that grieving, mourning and trying to understand is somewhat useless, especially useless in that it changes nothing, only internally, which I suppose is enough
Nungali Posted Tuesday at 09:42 PM True, but there are a lot of things we can either control, manipulate, adapt to , be in harmony with .... its not all about everything having control over us . ... I have managed to keep a roof over my head . Doesn't seem much ..... but ever been out in the wilderness in a disaster ( flood) in a closed area ( meaning there ain't no 'rescue' its up to you ) with no shelter or food ? - out there .... I think I felt like you are describing .
