Taomeow Posted September 20 And dimensions! Old school magic had, in most places, 3 (7 in taoism) and Occum's razor took care of the rest. Modern science can't agree whether it's 11, 24, or an indefinite number. What's an indefinite number? Here's some examples: "some," "many," "not many," "several," or "a few." Empowering a Maoshan talismanic spell requires a lot more precision than this.

Old 'dance hall' wisdom Aussie style ; Older Aboriginal Auntie to young girls in her charge ; "Now, when the men come up to dance with you, say no to all of them for the first half hour . Watch them all dance for a bit, , let them get a sweat up . Now, if you see any of them with black streaks running down the back of their necks, dont accept a dance invitation off them . They stink.
old3bob Posted Tuesday at 02:46 PM in random association cigarette traces will also stink unless both people are smokers....it was so very common years ago for a great many people to be smokers and sadly a great many people died early in their lives because of it; like my stepdad suffering from emphysema. Btw, I won a smoking inhalation contest against a 4th grade buddy of mine using stolen cigarettes, well that just about knocked me unconscious to win and hell after that and feeling sick I never had the desire to smoke again! (thus I quit young)

(thus I quit young) Kudos to you. Anecdotal evidence regarding a family member dying from something the pharma likes to attribute to smoking is not very reliable though. My mom started smoking at the same age and quit at 83. Now, at 91, her health is unfortunately not that great -- but nothing is wrong of the things commonly attributed to smoking. A lot of things are wrong though that are attributable to the addictive meds she's been put on by her doctors. No quitting that. Most elderly folks who would have self-medicated with smoking back then are now routinely turned into heavy drug addicts by the new paradigm. Smoking, at least, preserved the dopamine receptors (a safeguard against Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, senile dementia) while the new paradigm is all about demolishing them. 3

Just read this: The fertility rate in England and Wales has halved in 60 years as couples in their twenties and thirties have fewer children, says Office for National Statistics. (The Times front page today) But then again … “Concerns about population size and fertility were a constant in ancient Rome.” https://www.vindolanda.com/blog/roman-women-and-children-part-1 So now for my unpopular opinion Spoiler I don’t really care about the human race going extinct. Smoking, at least, preserved the dopamine receptors (a safeguard against Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, senile dementia) while the new paradigm is all about demolishing them. that's true about the addictive and sledge hammer effects that some meds have on people and very unfortunately has become routine!! I had some minor surgery recently and when coming back to consciousness I was really out of it to say the least! I asked the Dr. to compare his projected anesthesia usage on me with what I was given the last time I had surgery which also hammered me. I not sure if he ever made that comparison but probably didn't so I'm going to try and get a print out of what both Dr's used on me besides fentanyl which is now in common usage at hospitals. On smoking: I remember films with x-ray reviews that we were shown in high school comparing smokers and non-smokers lungs which tended to put the fear of god in some of us. (thus I quit young) A gentleman should always be ready to light a ladies cigarette for them ... fire dangerous ! man's work ! The Gods have strange ways for us ; My dad was a smoker , so I was a passive from a young kid . I would get 'asthma' and get taken to the doctor, who smoked while examining me in a room with closed windows and doors . I took it up as late teen , smoked just about everyday of my life, I am near 70 . I never got covid and have not had even a cold in the last 10 years . I observe healthy non smokers getting sick around me a lot ; covid, every flu that comes along , constant colds . When I went for my hip replacement , a few years back, the pre op check nurse listened and did other lung checks , I am thinking 'Oh no, I hoe they dont cancel the op ! " The she goes " Perfect ! " ' What ! ? " " I said, perfect ." "Why " ? "They sound perfect to me ." " I been a smoker all my life ! " Her : shrugs . I had full anesthetic , no probs, woke up fresh as a daisy in recovery ( nurse was surprised how quick I came out of it ), the next day I coughed and snotted up a bit of dried mucus in the shower , that was it ., But then , sometimes I have seen people chain them, I never do that . Well ... okay , sometimes I might go for a 'New York Breakfast ' ( coffee and cigarette ) but the not Manhattan Island Breakfast ( coffee and a packet of cigarettes ) , I dont smoke first ting in morning though , sitting up in bed YIKES , had a GF once that did that ! And I dont smoke 'tailor mades ' , but roll your own . Actually if I smoke one taylor made cigarette , I will be actually wheezing as I get half way through . Whe nonly they are availbale, I have not smoked at all . Oh yeah , when I went into hospital they offered me a substitute , I declined . They said all sorts of stuff "You cant even smoke outside , no smoking at all , how are you goung to cope with that ? I just said 'I am not going to do it for a few days ' [ the look I got ! Well, thats what I did <shrug> But dont you kids smoke through I am sure this fits in nicely with thread topic Edited Tuesday at 11:58 PM by Nungali
