Leaving a Religion disrupts Qi?

Recommended Posts

Hi so for a quick background on myself, I came from a really abusive household they were also Religious and used it to control the children alot. Unfortunately I fell victim to it and joined the Religion for several years, I was told I was a bad person in my past life, needed to be punished, etc. I started hearing voices in my head ( not actual voices just intrusive thoughts) that told me I needed to fail and suffer in life, my life generally has been unfortunate up until this point.

Now with Neigong and martial arts my mind got more clear and I've decided to leave, but the strange part is that I still get fear and panic which seems to cause blockages in my body. Anyone have experience with this?

From Yinyang five elements point of view, it is possible that a complicated arrangement of elements prevents you in the way towards the positive and healthy developement of your life.

To tell more by taoist counselling require first to do a complete and thorough diagnosis and analysis of your individual inborn nature's structure before saying anything about the possible underlying reasons behind the problems in your life, and from there to begin to define tailor made solutions.

In my experience it is disturbances in xing and ming that likewise disturb qi, flow and distribution.  Religious thinking and influence is a major disturbance in many people's lives... (particularly if they don't happen to agree/adhere with the dominant religious force in their native or current habitat).  Leaving, living with, trying to adopt, choosing to reject... all quite challenging depending on one's xing, ming and baseline natural state.

I think this explains it unfortunately. Mindfulness can be very helpful.

I have the experience to say that healing the internal organs is a very slow process as you aren't really healing matter but your own energetic make up:

-Water (the source of fear and panic)

-Wood

-Fire

-Earth

-Metal

How long have you been practising for and at what age did you start?

I started around 21 and it's been 1.5 - 2 years

That means you got a LONG JOURNEY ahead of you. Enjoy the blood, sweat and tears. As Mr Miyagi said in "The Karate Kid:" wax on, wax off, wax on, wax off...

Sweet I just hope nothing disrupts it, I'm okay with it taking a decent amount of time but seems like obstacles keep popping up in my way especially from my past.

Obstacles will pop up your entire life!

Even Buddhist arahants claimed that the battle with the Mind is constant, on a daily basis until you are all free from any delusions and attachments of all sorts.

Battle against lust, attachment to a physical form as the ultimate factors and then the whole lot: anger, resentment, fear, ego, restlessness, etc., etc.

Then you as a beginner have to restablish balance of the internal organs (yin-yang & fine tune the five forces) and open up meridians and all joints. This is a very slow process.

So, go easy, go slow and enjoy the ride plus the ripes of your own effort. There is also a lot of joy once you realise the full transformation you'll experience while looking back at your former 'self'', the old you.

I started 15 years ago and obstacles seem less now... Though it took a lot of work, satsangs, meetings with masters, healing, etc etc
