tianzhang Posted Friday at 05:13 AM Hi everyone it's me again, so I went to a Chinese medical doctor who also practices Chinese martial arts and has proper lineage. It turns out I have Taiyang/Shaoyang disorder, and my kidneys can't move qi down and possibly some issues with my liver ( no it's not a jing or yin deficiency according to him) any advice to help? Anyone experienced anything similar?

Has he prescribed you any herbs?

Absolutely! You can't properly diagnose or prescribe via the internet.

He did! I am taking them, the problem is whenever I train it seems like my pelvic floor is constantly tightening up for some reason, maybe it's because he had me stop doing zhan zhuang.

Nowadays, a good herbalist do read the western test to determine for herbal treatment.

tianzhang Posted Friday at 06:48 PM Just now, Maddie said: That almost sounds like blood level heat! It decreased with my stress if that helps, the more neutral and indifferent I became towards life the less the heat got. Only problem is I am still pretty indifferent to life and it seems the heat stays in some form.

Very unfortunate, I just don't understand how sickly people who practice the internal arts in the past improved but I am still sick from it. Only the grounding palm from the Eight mother palms seem to help me. Edited Friday at 06:51 PM by tianzhang

I'd listen to your TCM doctor.

Probably, so therefore you probably shouldn't do it if you are having these kinds of problems. Qigong isn't the safe for all exercise that is often assumed.
