Never Letting Go

New person here. Wondering if anyone has experienced a healer or a teacher never letting go of their student or patient. Thanks

Traditional teachings and the self-healing process usually found within are supposed to aim at the patient's or student's autonomy, but a lot of versions do not have this mindset and can sometimes create a dependent relationship.

It’s worse (for the patient/student) if the practitioner/teacher becomes dependent on them. Sadly, I have been experiencing this and was wondering if anyone else has.

sometimes dynamics change, 

teacher becomes a student instead. If you’re not up to that, speak your truth and leave. no aversion, no attachment. it’s a deal you can withdraw from. you don’t owe anyone anything, if you tread careful. dependency should not reign a relationship like that or any.

 

if it’s not beneficial for any of you, just speak up about it * in peace * and quit.

How do you withdraw from it?

Something i experienced several times too, fortunately at some point we may start to notice and begin to investigate the underlying reasons, or unfortunately repeat the same with another 'teacher' or in another type of relationship.

It’s been analyzed to death, I’m aware of what might have lead to it. The power and control I can’t seem to be able to remove. Anything you want to share about your experiences?

There has never been a contract. And just to be clear, I am talking about psychic control here, not emails or phone calls. Dissociation becomes impossible IMO when they have that type of control over you. Thanks for your thoughts.

Oh sorry, by underlying reasons i wasn't refering to afterborn psychological ones. 

Power and control describe perfectly some of the forces at play within an inborn individual structure. 

Today i'd say that without some type of study of the human nature based on natural principles it might be too difficult to identify our individual root self and start the education of its core 'spirit'. Thank you for your question, River, i'll try later when i'll have a bit more time.
