daolin Posted 10 hours ago Hi, Quick background: About 20 years ago I received a book from a family friend and diligently practiced the meditations for about six months. During that time: 1. unintentionally demagnetized hotel keys, parking cards just be putting them in my pockets for a few minutes. 2. healed my moms migrane headache as well as others colds by inserting my energy inside and probing around. 3. when holding a quartz crystal felt it pushing energy back inside of me, I could bounce it around and send beams of light to others walking in the street to the point they would look behind when impacted. 4. kundalini awakening that happened only twice, i short circuited somewhere in my lower spine and couldn't ever do it again after that, but felt immense power. 5. candle in the mirror in a dark bedroom, saw countless incarnations of myself on this world and others, and saw a at least 3m tall entity appear behind me in the mirror, looked like a creature with an exoskeleton and was quite scared and left the room immediately. tldr of the exercises was visualising white energy coming from above and moving the energy, bouncing it around inside each body part behind passing it down the chakras until passing it into the earth. hands chakra, feeling state of warmth, remembering a really warm moment and focus the warmth in the hands. Lost these thru inactivity and not practicing. Recently I discovered mo pai thru IG reels and to my dismay it's apparently done for all intents and purposes and Sifu Chang has passed. But as a kind individual here has said, there are many paths, and I have achieved a very basic level of what John Chang was teaching students without even knowing of him or tai chi, just following meditations in a simple book. So I think in this phase of my life, I would like to study taichi, neikung, and restart my journey. My goal for this year is to retire for all intents and purposes and move to thailand, where I will spend my days meditating. I do not know what the next steps are, so I will find a Kung Fu school, and train tai chi for starters. I have tried some youtubes mantak chai didn't really work yet for me, John Chang seems like the real deal. Still reading through the books. I'm averse to begin a practice that has been intentionally modified and can potentially cause prostate issues, but I first will study all that is available. If anyone here can point me to useful threads I'm very keen to read what I can. Blessings
