Nintendao Posted January 31 One time Dan Kim told me a story about his teacher Gabe Chin. He had gotten into a car accident and was being examined for internal bleeding by the doctor. He said here let me breathe into the upper, middle, and lower lobes of my right lung individually, and you can listen with your stethoscope and compare if anything sounds obstructed. The doc was like what do mean humans can't control their internal organs to that degree of intention! But Gabe was a Yang Taiji master. They proceeded to do the thing and the doctor confirmed medically that Master Chin was able to do what he'd described with regard to his breath. Have you heard of this kind of ability? Paradoxal Posted February 1 I know I can control which bits of the lungs I use, as well as the function of my stomach, gut, liver, and kidneys. I have not tried much related to the heart, but I can control blood pressure, heart rate, and body temperature. I've also been able to directly influence things like motion sickness and allergies. My mother also can do this, so I'm pretty sure it might be unrelated to qigong in our case, but rather a hereditary trait (though, it might actually be an energetic hereditary trait causing it, as my mother's side of the family has insane life force and often manifests abilities such as seeing the future). 2 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
