benny Posted December 10, 2008 what does the swastika have to do with taoism?  Hitler (or some nazi high up in nazi marketing) co-opted the swastika to be used in their iconography.  "It occurs mainly in the cultures that are in modern day India and the surrounding area, sometimes as a geometrical motif and sometimes as a religious symbol." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Swastika  It's supposed to be a miniature diagram of the universe .. issue is not what it is but how it's drawn - clockwise or else ....
