Lighttime Posted July 20, 2008 (edited) Go to youtube, or wherever and highlight "embed", then click copy. At message space click paste. (No need to click "LINK ICON" at top of message space unless you want to put a link to page, and if you do want to , just place it under copyed text.) In front of pasted text type youtube and at end of text type youtube. (youtube before this "<object" and /youtube after this "object>" Most importantly, place large brackets around youtube at the beginning (and at the end youtube) and in the end youtube put a forward slash / before the youtube. (in the brackets). Only place large brackets around the word youtube. At the beginning youtube and at the end youtube. Remember: Large brackets...not this ( ) or { }...(just click the keys next to "P" without using shift) That's it. You're all set. Take care. Don't know what I embedded -- sorry about that. I just clicked on the first vid on youtube without looking so I could just learn the process (without worrying about content). Lighttime Posted July 20, 2008 ummmmmmmm....... sorry. i am trying to keep up with all of this tech stuff, but I grew up before there were computers in every house. how do we get it into the post here on tao bums? do we use the add image button in our post? i am going to try and figure it out....... Don't worry. I'll explain. (Theres nothing worse then that I've just had something shown to me and I still don't get it feeling. LOL) All you have to do is minimize taobums, click your desktop search engine icon (like Firefox) go to google, then youtube, find video, then look to the right hand side where it says embed, then right click to highlight, then left click to copy, return to taobums, (maximize) then just paste (no linking necessary) in the message space. Put (youtube) in front of text and (/youtube) after. Just remember to use large brackets, and not ((( or ))) or {{{ or }}}. You'll see. If you still don't, don't worry in the slightest, I'll walk you through it.
