padge Posted July 23, 2008 (edited) Hey guys, another newcomer to the board here. I'm coming here with an interest in Taoist Yoga, specifically the Microcosmic Orbit. I'm not studying under a teacher, but once I go back to school there is a Tai Chi and Qijong instructor in the city and I plan to attend some classes. I've started reading the book Awakening Healing Energy Through The Tao by Mantak Chia, and got some videos to accompany it, so I will begin my practice with that. Â Basically I've been interested in Buddhism/Taoism for awhile now, but haven't dug into it very much and haven't done much meditating. It was during a period of anxiety and panic attacks that I really got interested in spirituality and have sought out to learn more about it and the workings/controlling of the mind. I have the panic attacks under control now, I don't get them anymore, but it has left me with a bit of existential anxiety which I want to overcome and ground myself again.
