mwight Posted November 30, 2008 wJWU9e1-G0c Forest For The Trees: DreamWe are all here in the act of creationLet's fly away on our imaginationYou take me to the highest heightsand into the depths of the deepest abyssWhen I am dreaming, I don't know ifI'm truly asleep or if I'm awakeAnd when I get up, I don't know if I'mtruly awake, or if I'm still dreamingDream, Dream, Dream, Dream, life isbut a dreamTraveling the waves of an infiinite oceanI feel the deepest emotionI see a shadow of realityPlease hold me closely and take me awayI'm the first personyou're the second personEarlier today I was in the third personStop cursing, start diversingOedipus is blissthe sunshine will affect your mindStretch it out, don't doubt the amountmy brain is caughtI'm just blessedTrip hoppin', so I flow like a streamIt's just a dreamYTvwcLylZzs Tool: LateralusBlack then white are all I see in my infancy.red and yellow then came to be, reaching out to me.lets me see.As below, so above and beyond, I imaginedrawn beyond the lines of reason.Push the envelope. Watch it bend.Over thinking, over analyzing separates the body from the mind.Withering my intuition, missing opportunities and I mustFeed my will to feel my moment drawing way outside the lines.Black then white are all I see in my infancy.red and yellow then came to be, reaching out to me.lets me see there is so much moreand beckons me to look through to these infinite possibilities. As below, so above and beyond, I imaginedrawn outside the lines of reason.Push the envelope. Watch it bend.Over thinking, over analyzing separates the body from the mind.Withering my intuition leaving all these opportunities behind.Feed my will to feel this moment urging me to cross the line.Reaching out to embrace the random.Reaching out to embrace whatever may come.I embrace my desire tofeel the rhythm, to feel connectedenough to step aside and weep like a widowto feel inspired, to fathom the power,to witness the beauty, to bathe in the fountain,to swing on the spiralof our divinity and still be a human. With my feet upon the ground I lose myselfbetween the sounds and open wide to suck it in,I feel it move across my skin.I'm reaching up and reaching out,I'm reaching for the random or what ever will bewilder me.And following our will and wind we may just go where no one's been. We'll ride the spiral to the end and may just go where no one's been.Spiral out. Keep going, going...

Gerard Posted December 7, 2008 One enlightened song by a gorgeous and gifted singer: http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=wwnMYZS1hSc&...feature=related Grace Slick...Let it go Some people say "Don't go away just stay right here" Some say "If you stay at home you're gonna wind up alone" Now you know you can't go two different ways you can't believe everything you hear And if you always do just what you're told hen you've got no mind of your own So if each man has a different plan let 'em go let 'em go You have a power all your own There's a spirit child inside you ready for life and I know It's just waiting to see how you will grow And when the spirit feels the need to wander let it go Sometimes they say the only way is to really sing that song Sometimes they say you're singing that way too loud too long And if they can't make up their minds then I think I'll make up mine Whatever way I feel is the only way I'm gonna sing that song And if people don't seem to like it that's O.K. let 'em go Some day they'll sing a song of their own 'Cause there's a spirit child inside them ready for life and I know It's just waiting to see how they will grow And when their spirit feels a need to wander I'm sure they'll go Some people said "Try this, it'll make your smile" Some said "Don't touch it, you end up crying" Well it felt so good for a while but then I saw too many dying When all they wanted to do was get a little higher So if the game won't follow through let it go let it go And leave the loaded dice alone 'Cause there's a spirit child inside them ready for life and I know It's just waiting to see how they will grow One too many-users lose it all Then there's no one-no one to help then break the fall People just like you who say "Oh no that won't be me" End up face down-is that where you wanted to be So if it's going to bring you trouble let it go let it go Remember that doesn't mean you'll be all alone 'Cause there's a spirit child inside them ready for life and I know It's just waiting to see how you will grow

Unconditioned Posted February 26, 2009 My Morning Jacket, Amazed. im amazed in the quiet ocean im amazed at your wrong devotion im amazed at what the people saying im amazed by a divided nation like the middle of the earth i get disrupted im amazed at all that has been im amazed at all who be im amazed at the tv stations im amazed what they want me to believe after all is said and done now lets seek justice im amazed at the evoltion im amazed at the lack of faith im amazed at love we are rejected im amazed that we accepted this place like the middle of the earth and the middle of the ages like a river i get disrupted im amazed im amaaaaaaaaaazed...... im amazed Death Cab For Cutie, The Ice Is Getting Thinner We're not the same, dear As we used to be The seasons have changed And so have we And there was little we could say And even less that we could do To stop the ice from getting thinner Under me and you We buried our love In a wintery grave A lump in the snow Was all that remained Though we stayed by its side As the days turned to weeks And the ice kept getting thinner With ever word that we'd speak And when the spring arrived We were taken by surprise When the flows under our feet Bled into the sea And nothing was left For you and me We're not the same, dear And it seems to me There's nowhere we can go With nothing underneath And it saddens me to say What we both knew was true That the ice was getting thinner Under me and you The ice was getting thinner Under me and you

Desert Eagle Posted November 5, 2009 I think there's good advice about sleeping well, eating balanced, not overdoing things.. But if you're a person prone to mental illness or psychosis, it doesnt necessarily matter whether you meditate or not. The world is a MAD MAD MAD place and if you're very sensitive to it, it just might blow your mind too badly. Simple Pranayama is safe to learn from a book. Simple Qigong too. As long as you don't force them to happen. BUT it's only relatively safe. Since no-one can guarantee that you're not going to flip out, whether doing practice or not. This lady has obviously flipped way before she did her first full-lotus YyyESHqT9a4
