can you do yoga in shoes?

My house is so cluttered, and it's like a garage sale in every room.

 

I also don't have any kind of mat for yoga on these hardwood floors.

 

I don' t see why shoes would interfere with sun salutations, possibly a slight more distance from earth, but tell me if so.
