hey, if they can find Fluoride to be beneficial, why not heavy water?

Add some mercury to it and I'll buy a case.

 

I've never heard of a study which should fluoride or mercury extended lifespans... and heavy water is still chemically water.

I thought my views on doctors and modern medical fraud were well known here.

Whoa.. then don't forget the Maalox for the upset stomach from the aspirin. And then the antibiotics for the infection you'll get from having doused your stomach acid. Maybe soon some heavy duty immune suppressants for the colitis. And a flu shot while we're at it, aren't you glad we're so efficient!

The elixir of life is staring people in the face, just like the secret to happiness, it just takes work. And who wants to work at creating a habit of feeling light, satisfied and energetic after a meal when they could be downing a second cheeseburger? Caloric restriction, exercise and a balanced diet with minimal hard-to-digest forms of protein and sugar (like red meat and dairy) is all it takes. Health, like life, is simple but not easy. That's the only reason we have people making claims about their particular brand of snake oil. Excuse my cynicism but I'm in the "deeply understanding people but being greatly disappointed with their victim mentality" phase. I'll get over it soon enough

This science is not new... Americans just began to copy it from Russians. Search for Dr. Volkov and his research on hydrogen water, yet he is not talking about heavy water... Has anyone heard about the Sufi master who can make water that has the ability to unpollute polluted rivers etc?

I did it was on a website where Drunvalo Melchizedek was talking about how great things were in store for us with this water. This was about 8 years ago when I first read about it thinking I bet nothing great comes of this and sure enough what has been documented-Nothing. Just another big letdown. Also the sufi master was never revealed if I am correct, how typical.
