Franky Posted December 1, 2008 I just feel like a bum searching for the Tao. I'm no stranger to external martial arts, but very new to the internal. I look forward to what I can learn from everyones post. BTW, I'm the same user of the profile "Frankie", but that profile isn't working due to technical issues, so I created this profile "Franky". Franky Posted December 1, 2008 Welcome to da Bums, Frankie AKA Franky. So what external arts do you do? I study at a private dojo in SLC. My sensei got his blackbelt from ed parker, but has studied many systems. It's a hybrid of kenpo, karate, kung fu, Aikido, kendo, sai's and staff. Right now I'm a 2nd degree brown belt (6th rank), and after this rank, I have one more rank to go before blackbelt. After I get my blackbelt from this dojo, I want to study an internal martial art. But I need to know where a good teacher is, (preferabally in Utah). I've read that incorrect practice can mess people up. I don't want to end up with "QiGong psychosis" or something equivelant. So if anybody knows where good teachers are, feel free to post.
