Folks with very high blood pressure should not squat, squatting raises blood pressure. The vast majority of strokes in south-east Asia occur around 9 a.m. in the morning.. that's pooping time! I live in the tropics, so no coats to hang. Now I know they are there to hang your pants on while you are perching.
