Ya Mu Posted December 19, 2008 As part of medical qigong we learn qigong style acupuncture. The style actually has several forms. As there are many ways of performing these therapeutics, I will describe a couple of them. Â In order to do this style a person needs to be a regular qigong practitioner, have put in much time & effort, and learned how to do wei qi liao fa. Â One way corresponds with TCM and conventional acupuncture. Another way does not, with the exception of using the channels. We simply use our fingers, point at the acupuncture points and project a stream of energy. We then pull sick qi from either the same point or more probably from a distal point. So the basic idea is we project qi in the stagnant channel, using points chosen for what we wish to accomplish, then pull out any sick qi out of the channel. Â One caution is we have to remember is we do not wish to create an imbalance, so do not try this without proper training. Â Another way is we utilize TCM theory, form "needles of Light" and insert them into the person utilizing the chosen treatment plan. We then hold the needles of Light with qi and INTENT. We do not have to be standing next to the person to hold this. At the proper time we take them out. Â Works extremely well.
