Whether or not Gurdjieff went nuts, got mean, became disapointed with Ouspinsky, or was compassionately using skillful means as a teacher, the whole thing helped Ouspinsky to stand on his own two feet. I've learned a tremendous amount from the taobum gang, particularly Ron and Plato, but that doesn't mean we have to exchange Christmas cards or anything.
