Paulie Posted December 28, 2008 Hello all. My name is Paul Wyatt, but I generally ask people to call me Paulie... I am 16 years old and a relatively new Taoist. I actually got my first copy of the Tao Te Ching for my 16th birthday (in november). As I read through its pages, something just sort of clicked. I had considered myself agnostic for a while before I read it. IT was a strange experiance, the book has Power. Since then I have been happier, in general, and I have been nicer to people around me. I had read about the religion beforehand, and I was not interested, I read the Tao Te Ching to have a deeper understanding of the philosophy, but it made so much sense to me. It is the truest book I have ever read. I want to read Chung Tse and the Hua Hu Ching (sp?) now. Not to mention The Tao of Pooh.
