Kunlun, Max, Beliefs

Yeah... there's always a few ungrateful worms in every bushel of good apples. These are usually the same people who want to punish the productive in society with taxes and reward the lazy with welfare. Only a sick bird fouls its own nest.

I don't like the army either, the day we have no armies is the day we can truly call ourselves a civilised society. I don't think anyone in their right mind would disagree that a world without any military on it would be a better world.

Armies can be like sick birds who foul other birds nests or take them over, if they'd just sit in their own nests there wouldn't be as much trouble in the world today.

And not wanting to join a group whose sole purpose is war has nothing to do with working hard or wanting unfair taxation.

It's just like being a little kid on a playground at recess...

You can be enjoying your swing..."ahhh so peaceful swinging on my swing! It's so much fun to feel that weightlessness when I reach the top! Woo hoo..."

Then the class bully comes along and pushes you off. You go flying, and your face hits the woodchips with a crack! OUCH. You start to bleed and cry, while he laughs at you. You curl up into the fetal position and pray to whatever higher power will listen that the world would be fair.

...Then your hero comes along. Your best friend, Billy! He takes a swing at the bully - knocking him to the ground. The bully starts crying and runs away with a red face. Billy yells out, "Don't mess with my friend, baloneyx, again!"

He comes and helps you up and suggests that you swing together. So much fun again! Brotherly love fills your heart and you're so grateful to have a good friend who will stick up for you.

From that point on, the bully avoids you because he knows what will happen...he sees that dangerous look in Billy's eye anytime he looks in your direction.

If Billy wasn't there, the bully could mess with you at anytime. You could be eating lunch and all of a sudden a basketball could fly into your head, and your meal would fall all over your clothes and on the floor. You could be sleeping at night and the bully would throw a rock into your window, breaking your favorite transformers toy! You would have to live your whole life in fear...but since your friend Billy is there, you can enjoy your meal. Yum. You can sleep peacefully and dream of the hottest girl in your grade inviting you over for baloney and ketchup sandwiches. And then when you wake up, you can play imaginary war with your transformers. :P

...

So despite the world being a messed up place where evil people run the show and lie to the public about why wars are fought...I think it's good to honor the "Billys" who decided to be vigilant and give up their freedom and peace so that you can have yours. Because it's very true that they are the reason why you're sitting on the internet talking about how much they suck.

The way I see it, until people learn some respect we can't call ourselves a civilized society.

Have fun, kids. :)

What exactly does he have to be grateful for? What is it that he is "ungrateful" about?

He should be grateful that someone else is doing the dirty work protecting your freedom.

Some are ungrateful that others are willing to literally put their ass on the line so you don't have to

Ironically, I think there's been a war ON, not FOR, our freedom in the last 8 years under the Dubyian neocons.

Now, we could say that deposing Saddam and killing a million Iraqis since 2003 was protecting our fiat currency's value and oil supply (and thus first world, soccer mom, SUV-driven lifestyle)...but let's not blindly parrot the neocon rhetoric that we were protecting our political freedom. That wartime propaganda is as legit as Saddam's WMDs.

LMFAO

I can't believe people actually believe that SHIT.

I used to be Active Duty Army and I am still in the National Guard. I don't ever remember protecting somebody else's freedom. The only thing that I do is provide a service so that Wall Street can make more $$$ and/or further it's interests. I'm well, well past that deception.

Govt can take property thru imminent domain or whatever excuse they make up. Hell. they fucking spy on their own citizens without cause...and I'm protecting freedom, give me a fucking break.

Beliefs mean nothing in the naked face of birth and death. People talk shit until they're walking the plank towards the setting sun. A choice to breath within the chance to flee. Learn to rebuild from the ground up. Everything is medi©ated. Learn to make medicine.

For an interesting (and humorous) look at the military's research into individuals with "special powers", you might want to check out "The Men Who Stare at Goats" by Jon Ronson.

That's looks like a fascinating book. Definitely going to check it out. Thanks!

Also, did a little research into the subject and found this...

Project Jedi

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Jump to: navigation, search

Project Jedi is an alleged project undertaken by the United States military in the late 1990s to create a super soldier named Dave Coresh that would possess superior strength, intelligence, cunning, and intuition by utilizing neuro-linguistic programming techniques. It is thought to have been conducted at Fort Bragg under the United States Army Special Operations Command. It is not specifically known when the program began and/or if it has ended.

neuro-linguistic programming seems like a pretty fascinating subject.

Not that it would matter ;)

If I get deployed, it is better than having to drive a truck or break into somebody's home. Even if I was, my outlook would still be the same.

If we had no military, which language do you think we would be speaking?

It is not the solider in the field that gives the orders, it is your elected officials, namely the commander in chief War is political. Don't shit on our military personnel, question the government.

When the bullies start getting serious such as 9/11, you must kick some ass or else the world will think you are a pussy. That would make us vulnerable and would leave our allies doubtful. Iraq had it coming.

9/11 Iraq. Connected. You must be drinking the kool aid boyo.

Who else has it coming? North Korea, Russia, China?? Venezuala. How about Belgium? Those bastards have it comin for shure. Goddamm EU.

Question consensus reality. Question your sanity. Do people volunteering for the military question?

Only people who sign up for military duty are exempt from questioning their govt because they gave up the right to object to Military policy when they became part of the machine.

It is the PATRIOTIC DUTY of the rest of us to QUESTION everything and PARTICIPATE in our democracy (what's left of it). DISSENT is Patriotic, it means your eyes are open and you have something to say.

PS - From whom does the "commander in chief" take his orders??

already sorry I responded to this. Ummm,,, weren't we talking about Max?

English, Spanish, some indigenous language...we aren't going to be here forever.

The border is pretty much porous anyway since having the military do rotations at the border is a new thing.

Even with that it is still porous.

As far as shitting on anybody. I'm not shitting on anybody. They are getting the truth, it is up to them on whether they are going to take it or leave it.

Iraq had absolutely no connection to 9/11, even the corporate media has stated this.

Saddam had not complied to the NATO resolutions since he got his ass kicked the first time for a decade. Basically flipping off the world saying "what are you going to do about it?" Besides he put a contract on George W's dad. Who better to make an example of.

Damn right our enemies had an awakening. Next time NATO lays down the law, leaders will comply.

O.K. I'm off the soap box.

Yeah, about him being a Navy corpsman in the early 80's. Keep in mind that if there is a

recession going on like in the early 80's then a person is going to have to do something

to support themselves.

Although it's not wise to express any sort of disdain towards the soldiers, after all, there's really nothing they can do about anything since they signed their lives away, I find that the inactive and un-enlightened citizen is where due fault usually lies. If this is a democracy, which it really isn't, the soldier basically does the bidding of the citizens. Unfortunately the citizens are scared shitless of their govt, and now soldiers do the bidding of a small group of rich meglomaniacs and their army of statist politicians.

Why would you equate driving a truck with breaking into someone's home and prefer to be deployed? I drive a truck and do -not- break into homes. I find the hours on the road allow me plenty of time to ponder, seek, dwell, write, reflect, think or just sit. I... enjoy the scenery(cubicle with a view).

The practice kinda 'digs up your stuff' and 'tosses it at you,' so to speak. Uncovers what's there, whether its just under the surface that you know about, or deep down that you've forgotten long ago. It seems most people run into uncertainty when they feel as though they should be able to understand and/or control most or every aspect of the practice.

This was very helpful and what I thought was going on as I read through the archived material. It was frustrating reading through some of it because a huge percentage of it reads like insanity or episodes of Jerry Springer. I appreciated you sharing this joeblast, what you wrote was very helpful to me. Joe.

absolutely. it's a different world.

No it isn't not as I see it, you've all just gone out of your way to make it seem that way. There was a topic about "Normals" and how they just aren't interested in your world, maybe that's because you create the division without realizing it. Someone mentioned that how well you wanted to get a message across rested in the delivery of it. After reading through the material on this site I would have to agree with that. Joe.

Joe - was it you that has been getting into Bradford Keeney's work? If not I highly recommend it as an adjunct to Kunlun - mainly to get you out of your head and stop you from being so serious...

A lot of people (I find) get into spirituality with absolutely no intention of actually growing/changing/transforming - so when they get into a practice that actually does that, they get scared and run off. It's a bad idea to start Kunlun if you're not prepared for this.

Thankyou freeform. I am reading Keeney's book and it is very good. This is serious freeform because my life will change. Joe.

a truck driver is an 88M, MPs and Infantry break into homes trying to confiscate weapons and other stuff. Those career fields in the Army end up getting the most casualties.
