on you tube the embed code is on the right side of the screen under the video discription. you can copy and paste it.

 

you can reference this in the future by clicking the link entitled BB Code Help under the smilies in the reply to thread screen.

sometimes I do both the youtube tags and the url link below it because it is easier to go to the youtube page with the url link instead of trying to get the link from the player window. this forum automatically adds url tags so I just need to copy/paste any link in my post but youtube tags need to be done manually. MPway, I don't know why the youtube tags don't work for you because I had no problems with them in any forum unless I had problems with a flash installaion or firefox or a slow net.
