Eastern religions in pop culture.

So acording to wikipedia this charecter is resembles a zen master. I would have went with more of an african shaman.

 

 

 

But I was wondering If you guys knew of any eastern religious or thought in pop culture. Lets exclude kung fu and avatar I would like to get more varied.

Found another one now if you take it out of context it is zen the main charecter follows the wind ie breath and learn how to ocntorl an energy called momentum ie chi with his mind in that he has to have a one pointed focused mind ie clear mind.
