The file contains a Chinese text on the anatomy and physiology of the human body according to Traditional Chinese Medicine, from famous Ming dynasty illustrated encyclopedia San-ts'ai T'u-hui. This is a facsimile of the Chinese text; there is no English translation. The file contains many illustrations and charts. JeroenK Posted February 18, 2009 Very nice downloads, thanks! Rapidshare is not the easiest to use indeed, waiting times... Maybe some torrent would help indeed for those who know how to use it. I took the time yetsreday to get 'm all. There is no 10 user limit, but there is a waiting time inbetween each download. There are also torrent clients for Mac. A torrent is basically a small file that points to the original files meant to have. You load that torrent file into your torrent client, and then it will download the original files you want to have from everyone who has them available. Its a lot easier and faster then rapidshare. Best let someone who knows how to work with torrent make the torrent file, and make that avilable on this forum. Then everything goes from there Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

After the upload, the RS site says: "Your file has been saved and can now be downloaded 10 times. It will be deleted after 90 days without download. If you would like to enable more people to download your file, please transfer it to a free Collector's Account or a Premium Account." A friend of mine just told me that he couldn't download a file, presumably because of the limit. But you say "There is no 10 user limit". In the past, I also downloaded several files from RS and I'm sure I was not among the first 10, so it seems there are no such limits. So is the info in their site incorrect then? Any ideas? 2. Thanks for your explanations about torrent. Sorry about my ignorance, but I don't know how to use a torrent. I know it exists and people use it, but I never used one. Since you say it's "a lot easier and faster then rapidshare", I wanna use a torrent, but don't know how. Can search Web and learn, but that would take a lot of time. Right now, I'm working on more bilingual texts; so I don't wanna use the time for learning how to use a torrent. You said "Best let someone who knows how to work with torrent make the torrent file, and make that available on this forum." Can somebody please help with the torrent thing? JeroenK Posted February 21, 2009 Hmm that is weird, I don't think I ever engaged that limit ... If they say it is so then I guess it is so! Although I use Bittorrent I never made a torrent. If sufficient people express their wish for a torrent here I don't mind looking up how I can make one, and leave my computer on for long enough so that enough others have the files as well so it can spread further from there. You can't download from their site, it only allows e-mailing and require ME to input e-mail addresses of the recipients. I'll upload the texts once more, again to Rapidshare (RS). Owledge Posted March 26, 2009 (edited) You have to add your client as a tracker. The trackers list of that torrent is empty. As far as I understand this: http://utorrent.com/documentation/make-a-torrent if your IP adress is changed by your provider every 24 hours or so, it would make the whole thing near impossible. But that could be solved by using a DynDNS account and using its domain name for the tracker. But if you use a router, you have to comfigure it for DynDNS. I could do that, but I don't have the files, and currently no Webserver and no DynDNS. I think the easiest way (if your IP adress varies) would be to use e.g. eMule and share them there (in a zip archive) and every participant sets the priority to high.
