Trunk Posted March 31 I’ve been learning about triads (135=major chord) on guitar … it kind of shattered how I ‘see’ the fretboard, after a bit of confusion made things much more free. Anyway, now I’m reworking every song I’d played before. Taking another look at “Let’s Get it On” … and read up that Marvin Gaye’s future wife (who he’d not yet dated) was in the recording booth during that session. Ooooh, *now* THAT makes more sense. The power behind this wasn’t merely, “we resonate, it feels natural good real - we should have a romantic evening and enjoy” … (and maybe they didn’t know it at the time) the *power* behind it was much bigger “we’re going to get married and have two children” was in their future. Wow. ain't that always the way? p.s. Song was co-written prior, and revised, among 3 people (so it's origination is more complex than that one relationship). Jack Black’s debut, before anyone knew that he could sing.

silent thunder Posted April 5 Such wonderful playfulness and sincerity/focus. The reaction of doggo in the first couple minutes pretty much mirrors mine.

oak Posted April 10 (edited) Was taking a cannula out of a patient's arm yesterday and she goes "your hands are so soft, do gentle..." I felt tempted to elaborate on that for a couple of seconds...but...didn't 😁 What are you listening to?
