Just finished sorting through some versions of "La Paloma". Very beautiful song. Mainly a Mexican song written by an Italian but done up in many different languages.

Listening to The Yardbirds. I hadn't heard from them for a while and I had forgotten how important the band was regarding the evolution of Rock 'n' Roll.

 

Really great music even today.

When I was a kid I really liked the movie Titan A.E. I had the soundtrack to it, but it got jammed in the CD player, then the car that it was in got totaled, and sufficed to say, I failed to recover the CD.

 

Now, several years later, my parents got me the soundtrack again as a gift because they saw it on sale, remembered how we had lost it so.... I've been listening to that sound track a lot. Particularly this song:

Never heard that one before. I got stuck in the late 60's /early 70's for quite a while and missed a lot of the evolution of rock music.

I have always loved all kinds of music, all kinds, but what truly moves me the most and really speaks to my heart and soul like no other is Trance and Progressive...it's just so heavenly to me! I have Direct TV which comes with Serious XM Radio and they have a station called Area that I just looooooove!
