What are you listening to?

Well, I will say this: she spoke (sang) the language very well. Most Russian I have heard is not very melodic. She made it sound pretty. (No course Slavic overtones.)

The first didn't sound much like a happy song. Hehehe.

The second was hard to tell. The Slavic dialect sure came out though.

I have to pass on both of those even though the first one was a pretty love song.

I got lost in the internet earlier this afternoon. When looking for some Bluegrass fiddle music which took me to Bluegrass clawhammer banjo playing then to Cajun fiddle music then to Cajun accordion music then to Swamp Pop music.

Hehehe.

Swamp Pop is neat music. It is mostly music from the late 1950s - early 1960s of nearly all popular styles at those times, done up in a distinctive Louisiana style. The artists covered all styles between Blues, R&B, RnR, popular, and country.

Hey, that second video has the best song in the whole thread

Those visuals were perfect for the words of the song even though I didn't understand a single word of the song.

I guess that is called understanding without knowing.

Edit

I pass on the second one.

Whole album is here!

MH, I think this will reverberate in the temples :)

Yes, it did that. I had to look up the lyrics. It is an Iron Maiden original. I don't really listen to them.

Listening to the song I thought of the style I call "Dark Rock". The lyrics supported my thought.

Well performed song.

I am listening to Flatt & Scruggs this morning. (If you don't already know who they are their music probably wouldn't matter to you anyhow.)
