sifusufi Posted November 9, 2011 I think you need find a way to be more productive. Hehehe. I'm still listening to my Garage Rock collections. Mostly the harder, wilder stuff now. A version of "My Way" just played and the guys really screwed that song up!!! Luckily I can't find it on 'youtube' so Y'all don't have to go through the pain of listening to it. This one? Marblehead Posted November 9, 2011 This one? No, it was far worse than that one. They converted it to a fast beat Hard Rock style. But yes, that one is horrible too!
Elliot Posted November 9, 2011 They didn't develop their peaceful side very well though, did they? That's quite true, but they do have a few mellow songs, for example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RuqVogBiYSU http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qvQqPpVuFf8 But even in some of their heaviest songs, the lyrics are often about love, peace or fantasy. Come to think of it, there isn't a Black Sabbath song that is lyrically "violent" Their song "War Pigs" is an anti-war song with regards to politicians. sifusufi Posted November 9, 2011 Changes, Laguna Sunrise... quite... well ... not Metal. This... nice acoustic breakdown, quite sweet. http://www.youtube.c...h?v=ReuBms-qZQk Nobody will ever let you know... when you ask the reason why, they just tell that you're on your own, fill your head all full of lies. Marblehead Posted November 9, 2011 Nobody will ever let you know... when you ask the reason why, they just tell that you're on your own, fill your head all full of lies. It took me more than half a life time to realize this. I am glad to be on my own and no longer have to listen to their lies. (Sometimes I have to comply with them though because they make them laws.)

Protector Posted November 10, 2011 Yeah, but there are some women trying to change that. You see man made the cars To take us over the world Man made the train To carry the heavy load Man made the electro lights To take us out of the dark Man made the bullet for the war Like Noah made the ark This is a man's man's, man's world But it would be nothing Nothing without a woman to care

Marblehead Posted November 11, 2011 really good I don't have any of that style of music in my collection but I have listened to it on occasion. Really nice stuff when I am in a mood for it.
Marblehead Posted November 11, 2011 Hehehe. Actually, I could do that as I have learned how to control what my brain registers and what it is to ignore. (Possibly a result of having been married three times.) I am still in the 1950s and listening to this guy right now: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tLzzsei_EyM

sifusufi Posted November 13, 2011 Due to the void left by Phil Lynott, I will not be attending the Thin Lizzy show tonight. The Power and Energy of Lizzy in their day gives me goose bumps.... Every time.
