Just listened to a really great song (my opinion).

 

The song is "Love Is Strange". It was popular during the late 1950s, sung by Mickey and Silvia. The roots of the song have a strong Cajun influence.

 

The version I just listened to was performed by Martin Pahinui done in the Hawaiian Slack String style. What a great song. Let me see if Youtube has it ... let's try this:

that bonus tune almost made me feel lonely.

 

it is bluegrass festival season here in the hills, but i will spare ya'll

heheh

this song crossed my path the other day, thought i would share

 

 

reckon i will see ralph stanley and friends september at big poppy
