silent thunder Posted July 18, 2014 I've been running this all night recently and into the mornings while my son and I sleep on our massive couch together. Summer camp, stay up late, watch movies, play video games, talk into the small hours and fall asleep to the sound of life falling from heaven, free and unregulated. Marblehead Posted July 20, 2014 Not bad for two guys with cellos and a drummer. I must say, "That was fuckin' Great!" Imagine, if you would, a male singer who also plays a mean fiddle with the group. Reminded me of this song:

Marblehead Posted July 29, 2014 (edited) Never cared much for Tao because his songs were for the ladies but Jerry Lee, absolutely! I think I had every 45 rpm record he put out until I joined the Army. (No, I don't have my 45 rpm collection anymore. They went the way of the winds when I joined the Army.) PS I'm still listening to Zydeco music. Edited July 29, 2014 by Marblehead

Marblehead Posted August 9, 2014 Interesting group what with the heavy metal roots and a female lead singer to mellow things out.

Neophyte Posted August 9, 2014 Heavy metal and opera - most excellent !!! Never tire of listening to Nightwish!!! Turning it up a notch now with Pantera!!! Agreed! Metal and opera go together well! Nightwish is one of my favourites. Pantera was my favourite band during high school. -- I'm uncertain of the genre, but I think this is a Progressive Death Metal band. Many people might not like this, but many people love it. Death Metal with hardcore opera vocals. I think that everyone should at least give it a listen.
Neophyte Posted August 9, 2014 (edited) Here is a Symphonic metal band from Chile. I discovered them on Youtube. It has a male opera singer for vocals; and no, there are no grunting, growling vocals--just opera. You might really like this. I talked to the members of the band over Youtube and friended the band on Google+. They're nice guys. It's actually pretty beautiful music and uplifting. Listening to this really makes you feel good. So let's support our Chilean friends and listen to Eternus. Edited August 9, 2014 by Neophyte
