BLI LYS!

"God Shuffled His Feet"

After seven days

He was quite tired so God said:

"Let there be a day

Just for picnics, with wine and bread"

He gathered up some people he had made

Created blankets and laid back in the shade

The people sipped their wine

And what with God there, they asked him questions

Like: do you have to eat

Or get your hair cut in heaven?

And if your eye got poked out in this life

Would it be waiting up in heaven with your wife?

God shuffled his feet and glanced around at them;

The people cleared their throats and stared right back at him

So he said:"Once there was a boy

Who woke up with blue hair

To him it was a joy

Until he ran out into the warm air

He thought of how his friends would come to see;

And would they laugh, or had he got some strange disease?

God shuffled his feet and glanced around at them;

The people cleared their throats and stared right back at him

The people sat waiting

Out on their blankets in the garden

But God said nothing

So someone asked him: "I beg your pardon:

I'm not quite clear about what you just spoke

Was that a parable, or a very subtle joke?"

God shuffled his feet and glanced around at them;

The people cleared their throats and stared right back at him

Wilco was the best sounding show I've ever been to. Xiu Xiu was nice and intimate, but I'm not a big fan of them anymore. Tool is always visually amazing, especially when they have the naked contortionists hanging upside down. :lol: Radiohead, during the Hail to the Theif tour was awesome, at Alpine Valley (tailgating before in the grass parking lot, then standing on the big hill). The Melvins are cool...they have two drummers that play at exactly at the same time. Can't remember who else I saw right now...

I dont really like Sigur Ros on album, but they are amazing live. Ive been to two concerts with them. Here is a wonderful Sigur Ros video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sWiJWLiSKro...feature=related

And Scott, Tool is f--ing awzome live! But seriously, the last show they had in Norway sucked. Sound was bad. Sound can NOT be bad on a Tool concert goddammit!!!

My best live experience has been Muse and Manu Chao. Manu Chao was a out-of-the-body experience for the whole crowd I think. Ive never seen so many euphoric faces gathered in one place.
