Marblehead Posted January 10, 2014 The first one made me sad, the second one cheered me back up. Good balance.

Brian Posted January 10, 2014 (edited) Steve Martin has come to town a few times with The Steep Canyon Rangers. (They get a fair amount of airtime, too...) Â Earl's birthday would have been Monday so I'll throw this one out: Â Edited January 10, 2014 by Brian

Marblehead Posted January 10, 2014 (edited) synchronicity bro' hehehe i think i'll push my luck with one more bg altho it was technically played at a jazz festival. after this one i will stay quiet; I've seen Chubby Wise do "Orange Blossom Special" so many times that it just sounds like a different song played by anyone else. Â Â Edit to add: Â Yes, the weather is back to normal here now. 61 degrees with fog this morning when I woke up. No, my pipes didn't freeze but the birds had to peck through the ice in the bird bath to get a drink of water. Â Okay so enough Bluegrass for a while. Here's something for the guys (and ladies too, I guess): Â Â Â Edited January 10, 2014 by Marblehead
yabyum24 Posted January 10, 2014 Not music but something to listen to (in an abstract kind of way). One of my favourite archery vids. Not too shocking for Marblehead
Marblehead Posted January 10, 2014 Not music but something to listen to (in an abstract kind of way). One of my favourite archery vids. Not too shocking for Marblehead Nope, not shocking. Hehehe. Interesting though 'cause just last night I watched a program about magicians regarding the trick of catching a bullet and this one was to catch a bullet with his teeth. Â The round was fired directly at him, through a piece of plate glass (to show that a round was actually being fired), you could see an impact and the magician fell down. Everyone worried he was dead. He was rushed to the hospital and it ended up being a piece of the glass that had been carried along with the round that hit the magician on the side of his face. The round was found and it showed no signs of making a front-on impact. Â Of course, the magician never told how he did it.
Marblehead Posted January 13, 2014 That is one really spaced-out cello he was playing out there on the mountainside.

Marblehead Posted January 15, 2014 That would space me out if I was in the right mood. Â Â I'm listening to a collection I put together of Freddy Fender and Sir Douglas Quintet. Still with the Tejano roots.
