Marblehead Posted June 27, 2011 You got deep into the piney woods for those first three. Strange that I didn't even know about Stevie until after he had died. Three Kings? You forgot James: It looked like he was sipping on the bottle a little too much that night. (He does have an alcohol problem.)

Harmonious Emptiness Posted June 29, 2011 An Atomic Rooster cover that most here can probably relate to. Viva la Afro Funk! An Invisible Prison Encircles My Mind. I Wait For a Vision,I Search For A Sign. An Invisible Prison Is Built Around Me, There May Be A God,But There Isn't A Key. I Got To Break-Out,I Have To Be Free. I Got To Break-Out,It's Stifling Me. Help Me! I Got To Make A Breakthrough, I Got To Make A Breakthrough, I Got To Make A Breakthrough, I Got To Make A Breakthrough. Now! I Must Find A Way,I Must Find A Way, I Must Find A Way,Out Of Here. An Invisible Prison,I Cannot Escape. With Walls I Can't See,With Walls I Can't Break. An Invisible Prison,How Can I Be Free? There Isn't A God,For The Jailer Is Me. I Got To Break-Out,I Have To Be Free. I Got To Break Out,It's Stifling Me. Help Me! I Got To Make A Breakthrough I Got To Make a Breakthrough, I Got To Make a Breakthrough, I Got To Make A Breakthrough, Now! I Must Find A Way,I Must Find A Way, I Must Find A Way Out Of Here. There's Got To Be A Way,Yeah,There's Got To Be A Way, There's Got To Be A Way On Out Of Here,Babe,Yeah. I Can't Find A Way,I Can't Find A Way, I Can't Find A Way Out Of Here. There Must Be A Way,There Must Be A Way, There Must Be A Way Out Of Here. Let Me Out,Let Me Out,Let Me Out Please! Oh,There Must Be A Way,There Must Be A Way, There Must Be A Way Out Of Here. Marblehead Posted July 3, 2011 Hehehe. Any kind of music is good for doing that!!! So I like Alvin's playing but it seemed to me that he was high on drugs for some of his recordings. While this song was playing I looked him up on Wikipedia and noted that he has jazz in his musical beginnings. That is where he lost me at times - where his jazz style dominated. Ha! I saw Alvin Lee and Ten Years After at the Spectrum in Philadelphia during the summer of 1972. His guitar playing was phenomenal! Bo Didley opened up for them. Marblehead Posted July 3, 2011 I saw Alvin Lee and Ten Years After at the Spectrum in Philadelphia during the summer of 1972. His guitar playing was phenomenal! Bo Didley opened up for them. I love listening to Bo Didley. He was a fantastic guitar player in his own right but rarely got recognized for it. I bought a number of his 45 rpm's when I was a teenager. Right now I am listening to Little Willie John: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_ctXEZhuyz4&feature=related
