Deepbluesea Posted April 2, 2009 Just been looking around for a few days and I really have to complement you folks for managing such a fine community. It seems helpful, kind, and humorous. Â For my adult life I have been mostly agnostic which seems to fit well with Taoism and Zen, but I wouldn't pigeon hole myself as anything specific. I have a very empirical mind and like to be able to explain things, but I never felt the need to explain spiritual mysteries. But now that I am in my late thirties I have began to feel like I need a spiritual footing of some type. About 25 years ago when I was in high school, I remember being so afraid that a lightening bolt was going to strike me for reading reading the I Ching. I got over it and soon rejected the guilt that organized religion seems to chain followers with. Â Blah, blah, blah, I am looking forward to many questions, answers, thought, forgetfulness, and laughter!
